Why the answer is always yes
Because the work is remote and always was. Crawling a site, writing schema, fixing internal links, managing a Business Profile and running ads happen in a browser. None of it requires being in the same city as you, and none of it costs more because you're further away.
What actually changes by state
- Competition. Ranking for a service in Los Angeles is a different job to ranking in Wyoming, and the timeline reflects that.
- Seasonality. HVAC demand in Arizona and HVAC demand in Maine peak at opposite ends of the year.
- The map pack. Local rankings are decided block by block, so a dense metro needs more profile and citation work than a small town does.
What doesn't change is the price or the list of tasks. Everything is on one page, and every state has its own.
