Meta description generator.
Fill it in. Get your meta description. Brace yourself.
Google will probably rewrite this anyway.
Fine. Here's one.
Why Google rewrites it
Google rewrites most meta descriptions. It pulls whatever text on the page best matches the search, so the description you wrote only shows when it's already the best answer.
So the description doesn't matter that much. The title does.
How I actually optimize titles for CTR
Start in Search Console, not a keyword tool.Find queries where the page already ranks 4–15 with real impressions.
Use the searcher's words, not yours. If they type "AC repair," don't title it "HVAC Service Solutions."
Put the reason to click in the title.Price, speed, proof, location. Whatever makes you the obvious pick.
Match the first two lines on the page. That's what Google quotes when it rewrites the description. Make it quotable.
Check your brand CTR first. If you're not #1 for your own name, fix that before anything else.
Wait four weeks, then compare clicks. Not impressions. Clicks.
