White label SEO pricing and reseller margins.
What wholesale actually costs, how to mark it up, and why "cheap" is the wrong thing to shop for.
Markup is not margin. This is where the money leaks.
A 100% markup and a 100% margin are different numbers, and agencies mix them up constantly. On a $1,000 wholesale cost:
- 2x markup → you bill $2,000. Gross margin is 50%.
- 3x markup → you bill $3,000. Gross margin is 67%.
- "50% markup" → you bill $1,500. Margin is only 33%.
Published reseller guides put the common band at 2x to 3x wholesale, landing most agencies in the 40–60% gross margin range. But gross margin isn't profit. Your own hours come out of it.

Why "cheap" is the wrong thing to shop for
Search "cheap white label SEO" or "affordable white label SEO" and you'll find providers under $300 a month for full-scope work. At that price something is being skipped: AI-written content nobody reviewed, links from networks, no account management, no one answering when a client asks a question.
You don't feel it in month one. You feel it in month five when the client asks what they're paying for and you don't have an answer, or when a spam update takes the links down with the rankings.
Cheap isn't the goal. Margin is the goal, and ROI is what keeps the client. A $990 wholesale account you can sell for $2,500 and keep for three years beats a $299 one that churns in four months, every time. Run both through the calculator and look at the annual number.
The number nobody puts in these guides
Your hours. Two agencies can buy the same wholesale package at the same price and have completely different businesses, because one spends 45 minutes a month on the account and the other spends six hours chasing the partner for updates.
That's the real reason to ask about bulk pricing once you have several accounts: not just the rate, but how much of your time each account costs you every month. Less time per account is more accounts sold.

How much do white label SEO packages cost?
Wholesale sits roughly between $300 and $1,500 a month per account depending on scope. Below about $300 for full-scope work, something is being skipped — usually content nobody reviewed or links from a network. Our partner rates aren't published; they're a different card to the public one and they improve with volume.
What should I charge my clients?
2x to 3x wholesale is the common band, which puts most agencies at 40–60% gross margin. Remember markup isn't margin: a "50% markup" is a 33% margin. Run your own numbers here, including your own servicing hours, which is the cost most agencies forget.
Do you do white label e-commerce SEO?
Yes. Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce. E-commerce is priced higher than a local service site because product and collection schema, variant handling and faceted navigation are genuinely more work.
Is there an affordable option for a startup agency?
Yes, and the honest version is: start with one account, not a bundle. Send one client, see how the reporting and the response times feel, then scale. Any partner who needs a minimum commitment before you've seen their work is managing their risk with your money.
Do you offer white label Google Business Profile management?
Yes — profile management, citations and duplicate suppression under your brand. One account went from 8 to 29 citations and took #1 for all three target terms in a quarter.
Can I white label your reports?
Yes. Deliverables arrive unbranded, or in your template if you send one. We don't contact your client, ever, unless you put us on the call, and no-poach holds after the engagement ends.
Doing the math on margin? What white label link building costs breaks down the link-building line, if links are part of what you resell.
