Do you need a private label SEO partner?
Five signs yes. Three signs no. Written by one, which you should weigh accordingly.
Yes, if any of these are true
- You're turning down SEO work. The clearest signal. You already have the demand and no way to deliver it.
- One person on your team does SEO "as well as" their real job. It's nobody's priority, so it's nobody's fault when it slips.
- Clients keep asking for it and you keep referring it out, which means someone else now has a relationship with your client.
- You want the service line without the hire. A good SEO is a salary, a ramp-up, and a risk. A partner is a line item you can cancel.
- Your margins are fine but your calendar isn't. The problem isn't money, it's that every account eats hours you'd rather spend selling.
No, if any of these are true
- You've never sold SEO. Partner first, learn to sell it second, and you'll misprice it and oversell it. Sell one, deliver it with help, then scale.
- You want to disappear from the account. The partner does the work; you still own the relationship, the reporting conversation and the trust. That part doesn't outsource.
- You're shopping purely on price. If the cheapest wholesale rate is the deciding factor, you'll get what that pays for and your client will feel it in month five.
The bias, stated plainly

If you want to run the numbers first, the pricing guide has a calculator.
