We finally hit a perfect site health score on an HVAC account. That month, calls went down.
Zero technical issues. Clicks and impressions from search both up. And Google Business Profile calls down.
That's not a contradiction. A clean site means Google can crawl, index and trust you. It doesn't create demand, and it doesn't move the map pack by itself.
What actually drives the calls
- The map pack: reviews, categories, proximity, how often the profile is worked
- Season: HVAC calls follow the thermometer
- Competitors: who else showed up in the three spots
Get the site to 100 and keep it there. Then stop celebrating the score and look at the phone.
